Welcome to Businessin10!

Hi, my name is Joseph Elchakieh and I have over 30 years of business experience. In here I will be sharing my experience with you through Blogs, Videos, and Courses.

About Joseph

Joseph Elchakieh is a senior executive. He is result driven, a strong leader, he has an excellent record of achievement in corporation building, market creation, product development, and financing.

With over 30 years of business experience, Joseph has built and ran many companies and raised over $40,000,000 in financing.

Notably, Joseph ran high technology companies where he introduced the first high speed Internet access in the world and dominated the market for the most high-speed internet lines sold. Additionally, he ran low technology companies in construction, where operations included digging trenches and installing underground communication and electrical power infrastructure.

Joseph has managed employees in various industries with diverse professions ranging from construction workers to engineers with PHD degrees who designed and deployed very sophisticated Internet services.

Joseph has been described as focused, practical, knows the priorities and gets things done.

People spend approximately 2,200 hours every year working. According to Statistics Canada, the average life expectancy is 85 years and improving. This means that if individuals retire at ages 55, 60 or 65, on average they will have 20 to 30 years in retirement. This is a lot of time that needs to be spent in a productive way to maintain purpose, self-satisfaction and fulfilment.

Joseph views retirement not as a conclusion of life but as a continuation of life. Just as individuals prepare for their working years, they need to be prepared for retirement and be practical:

– It is important to make sure that we have a good quality of life during retirement through good physical and mental health;
– It is important to make sure that we are financially secure and have enough money to last the next 20 to 30 years in retirement; and
– It is important to make sure that our affairs are in order to take care of us and the people we leave behind.

This is where Joseph’s experience comes in. He is taking his extensive practical experience in finance, management, and corporate governance and applying it to retirement.
